By this time you are well aware of what has transpired. Due to my lack of character and poor judgment, I have done a great disservice to Andrea, both personally and professionally. It has been entirely inappropriate (and it goes way beyond that) to cross the line between physician and patient as well as have any extracurricular activity in the midst of an ongoing relationship with Andrea, my closest friend and business partner.

As the situation has become fully unfolded, this has resulted in great pain for Andrea, whom in no way deserves the repercussions of my improper actions. While you have been a patient of my practice and Ology's, Andrea is the cornerstone of this practice and deserves better than I have done to date. For this reason, I must request that Ology/my practice separate itself from you as a patient. Great pain and suffering has resulted from my behavior and any future crossing of the two, regardless of what amends may have been done, will only open up these wounds. As a result, I will be unable to provide care for your daughter and can recommend Dr. Sadove at the Meridian center, a renowed pediatric plastic surgeon.

I believe this is best for all involved.

** How easily Dr. Eppley admits his professional misconduct when it serves his own purpose, which, of course, this does.  But what about the woman on the receiving end of his transgression, and I am not referring to his "best friend and business partner" Andres Bradley-Stutz.   Dr. Eppley seems to have lost sight of the fact that the "great pain and suffering" resulting from his "behavior" was borne by the female patient victimized by his selfish and deplorable breach of professional decency.

Dr. Eppley's remorse is entirely self serving.  His expressions of regret for his "improper actions" are entirely for his "partner" Andrea, yet there is not a single word of apology to his VICTIM!  His attitude in this regard is reprehensible.  This is the attitude of one who thinks nothing of using people as if they are objects... He is totally incapable of relating to the pain he inflicts on others who do not serve his own agenda.  Imagine being on the the receiving end of this message... Dr. Eppley's only regret is having been caught in his predatory game.  Once caught, his only concern is self preservation through further demeaning his by placating the ruffled feathers of his "partner", Andrea, who "deserves better".   Yet he proves here that he does not feel the real victim of his heinous actions even deserves an apology?
